Our Story

A Fellowship Born from a Heart for the Nations

World Missions Fellowship was established by a group of passionate believers in Calgary, Alberta, who shared a deep conviction that the Church is called to carry the Gospel message to every corner of the earth. What began as a small prayer group dedicated to interceding for the nations has grown into a dynamic fellowship that actively supports missionaries, church planters, and community outreach programs across multiple continents.

Our fellowship is built on the foundation of Scripture. We gather weekly to worship, study God's Word, and equip one another for the work of ministry. We believe that every believer — regardless of age, background, or gifting — has a role to play in God's global mission.

Through partnerships with churches in Sub-Saharan Africa, leadership training programs, and local community engagement in Calgary, we strive to be faithful stewards of the calling God has placed on this fellowship.

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy, and the supreme standard for all faith, life, and conduct.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, each sharing equally in all divine perfections.

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a gift of God received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by human works but given freely by God's grace.

The Great Commission

We believe Jesus commands all believers to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything He commanded.

The Beginning

Fellowship Established

The fellowship establishes its first overseas partnership, connecting with churches in Sub-Saharan Africa to support church planting and pastoral training.

Children's Ministry Launch
